FAST FACTS
- I was born in Westerly, Rhode Island in 1987 which makes me roughly 24 years old.
- Sometime later I attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and managed to steal a B.F.A. in Industrial Design in 2009
- I also attended Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK long enough to hear them talk funny
- After graduating, I worked as a designer for a small product design/engineering consultancy. I split my time equally between analyzing ergonomic data and making prototype Nerf guns out of acrylic.
- More recently I worked as an in-house contractor for a product design consultancy in Chicago, settling into a concept generation groove.
- These days you can find me working as a freelance designer for Harry Allen.
- I am most interested in research- and theory-based design methodologies because I spent most of my childhood spacing out and daydreaming
- But I do have a soft spot for machining. And for polygons.
- I'm an optimist about where we're headed
- But I know we can move a little faster
